The Arroyo ‘Goat’ Program is well underway. The goats have been working the hillsides on the east side of the Arroyo and will be moving to the westside of Brookside/Rose Bowl this week and working their way south and should reach San Rafael in about 2 weeks. The City of Pasadena & The One Arroyo Foundation reached out to the SRNA board and shared with us that the City contractor (CAPRA Environmental) has agreed to extend goat services to those San Rafael homes directly adjacent to the city property/Arroyo where work will be occurring.
If you are interested in having services extended to your property, please contact CAPRA Environmental directly through their website: HOME – Capra Environmental Services, Corp.
Residents who reach out should let CAPRA know they are interested in receiving services on their property. CAPRA has agreed to offer this service in lieu of direct payment, with the request that participating residents make a donation to support the One Arroyo Foundation. More information about this effort, including the GoatFundMe campaign, can be found at: Arroyo Goats — The One Arroyo Foundation
