| Potential Elimination of Overnight Parking Restrictions Pasadena Citywide Parking Strategic Plan On Wednesday March 15, the City of Pasadena held a community discussion on proposed changes to parking rules and regulations as detailed in the Pasadena Citywide Parking Strategic Plan. A representative from the San Rafael Neighborhoods Association attended this meeting to ensure that our community is informed and represented on this important proposal. The strategic plan includes 11 recommendations including a proposal to eliminate the citywide ban on overnight street parking. A copy of the Pasadena Citywide Parking Strategic Plan is linked below. The San Rafael Neighborhoods Association is concerned about the impact of eliminating overnight parking restrictions will have on the safety and character of our neighborhood. At the community discussion session, it was shared that they anticipate submitting the final draft to the City Council in late summer. It is important that we make our voices heard on this matter.
