PWP New Water Rules

PWP has moved to a Level 2 Water Supply Shortage Plan effective Aug 16

In Pasadena, the following instances of water waste are prohibited:

  1. Outdoor watering is limited to the following schedule for:
    • Summer (April 1 – October 31): Even-numbered addresses may water on Mondays and Thursdays and odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays and Fridays (effective August 16, 2021).
    • Outdoor watering is limited to the following schedule for:
    • Winter (November 1 – March 31): One day a week only; even-numbered addresses may water on Mondays and odd-numbered addresses may water on Tuesdays. 
  2. All watering must be done before 9 a.m and after 6 p.m.
  3. All property owners must fix leaks, breaks, or other sprinkler system malfunctions when they find them, or within 48 hours of receiving a notice from PWP.
  4. Filling or re-filling ornamental lakes or ponds is prohibited, except as needed to sustain aquatic life.
